What a way to open up a season.
The Temple Owls hosted the Bloomsburg Huskies on Saturday in what would end up being a 10-2 rout in favor of the Owls. Combined with an outstanding offensive attack that saw over 70 shots and a strong game defensively, the Owls proved to be too much for the second-division Huskies.
Let’s take a look back at what happened.
Ben Auerbach’s first save of the night was an easy one.
Jason Ferguson opened up the scoring for the Owls with a wrist shot from the point.
Thomas Panella made it 2-0 shortly thereafter.
Celly hard, boys!
After the first period, the score was 2-0.

We couldn’t even GIF everything, as there were three more goals in quick succession. The score after two periods was 8-1.
Ghiazza scored again to make it 9-1.
Bloomsburg scored with three minutes to go, but the Owls scored their 10th goal with under a minute remaining.
