Get excited. The Temple Owls’ 2018-19 schedule has been released.
The team will start their trek to the ACHA Nationals at their new home against Bloomsburg on September 15 before travelling to West Virginia to play the Mountaineers on September 21 and 22. They will finish out the opening month of the season with the City 6 Tournament from September 28-30.
October will mark their first conference games with matchups against West Chester on October 5 and Drexel on October 14. Arkansas will make the trip to play Temple in Philadelphia on October 13.
November will be the busiest month for the Owls with games at Towson, Drexel, Navy, and Lehigh. Villanova will visit on November 2, while the University of Delaware will visit on November 16.
The Owls will host Lehigh on the backend of a home-and-home series on December 1 before travelling to Hatfield Ice, home of the Villanova Icecats, to partake in the Villanova College Hockey Showcase from December 7-9 to end their first half of the season.
Temple will travel to Alabama for games on January 11 and 12 to start their final stretch of the season before playing host to Penn State Berks on January 19. The Owls will end the regular season with Senior Night against Rutgers on February 9.
You can see the full 35-game schedule by clicking the link below. The Owls will play 14 home games, and all will be broadcast on the Temple University Ice Hockey Club YouTube Channel for free. They will play 14 ECHA conference games, including two against the returning West Chester Golden Rams. They will play Lehigh three times, although the matchup on October 6 will not count as a conference game.
