The long-awaited release of Temple Ice Hockey’s ACHA division one schedule has arrived, and the schedule starts this coming Friday (September 8th) at Millersville. The home opener is set to take place on Friday, September 22nd against SUNY Cortland.

In total, their schedule consists of 25 regular season games and two tournaments: the City 6 tournament (which is not included in the below schedule) at Hatfield Ice between September 29th and October 1st and the Revolution Ice tournament at Revolution Ice. 13 games in the regular season schedule are to be played at the North East Skate Zone, Temple’s home rink, which is located around 30 minutes away from Temple’s campus. 12 games are to be played away; the team will travel to as far as Maryland, Western PA, upper New York, and Rhode Island.

They play Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association (ECHA) rivals 11 times during the season, with six of those games being played at home. They only play Penn State Berks once, with that game being at home. Their first regular season game against an ECHA team will take place on October 20th against Villanova.

Perhaps the toughest competition they will face this season will be the Rhode Island Rams with a pair of two away games at Brad Boss Arena in Rhode Island. The Rams finished the season in the top 25 of the ACHA rankings, ending up in 25th.
